That being said, I always recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue and date secured.

I create a photography timeline that’s designed around how your day flows and what’s needed to create the best experience and imagery.

If you have a venue coordinator, their focus is typically on what happens at the venue, ceremony timing, reception details, and making sure the venue runs smoothly. I help plan the moments before you arrive, including getting ready, first looks, travel, portraits, and creating enough space for the day to unfold naturally.

If you have a month-of coordinator or wedding planner, they typically step in closer to the wedding day to finalize the overall event timeline. I begin working with you about three months before your wedding to create a photography timeline draft, then collaborate with your coordinator or planner to make sure everything works together seamlessly.

My goal is to create a timeline that feels intentional, allows room to breathe, and gives you the space to be present while I capture your day fully.

You don’t need to have every detail figured out before booking. We can start with the coverage that feels right and refine it closer to your wedding day.

About three months before, I’ll create a photography timeline based on your plans, priorities, and the moments you want captured. Factors like a first look, family portraits, travel, and couple portraits all play a role in determining the time you’ll need.

Most couples choose 9-10 hours of coverage because it allows the day to unfold naturally without feeling rushed.

You don’t have to know how to be in front of the camera, that’s my job. What I do ask is that you come into this experience open and present with each other. You both need to give me that.

I want your portraits to feel less like a photoshoot and more like a moment to slow down together. Think of it as a little date in the middle of your wedding day, a chance to step away and reconnect.

Before your wedding, I love learning the little things you adore about each other so I can bring those details into your portraits.

You can tell me what helps you feel comfortable, whether that means more privacy, fewer people around, or simply more time to ease into it. My role is to create the space; yours is to be open, present, and let your connection lead.

It depends on the size of your family, how many group photos you’d like, and whether you want to include friend portraits as well.

For couple portraits, I recommend a minimum of 20 minutes and ideally closer to 30 minutes. This time matters for my approach, especially because I work with both digital and film photography. Film requires a slower, more intentional pace, and having that space allows me to create the romantic, thoughtful portraits you’re drawn to.

The goal is to give you enough time to settle in, reconnect with each other, and create portraits that feel natural rather than rushed.

Absolutely. I believe the best photographs come from a balance of both.

I’ll never leave you wondering what to do, but I also won’t create moments that feel forced. I’ll give gentle direction when you need it, then step back and allow your connection, personalities, and the little in-between moments to naturally unfold.

The goal isn’t to make you look like someone else, it’s to create space for you to feel comfortable enough to be fully yourselves.

Wedding days rarely run perfectly on schedule, and that’s okay. My goal is never to add stress, it’s to help you move through the day calmly while still protecting the moments that matter most.

This is why I’m intentional about building in buffer time and creating a realistic photography timeline. If we fall behind, I’ll help adjust where we can, prioritize what’s most important to you, and make sure we’re still creating space for the moments that make your gallery feel complete.

The next business day after your wedding, I’ll send you a follow-up email with everything you need to know, including when to expect your sneak peeks and your full gallery.

I’ll provide specific dates so you know exactly what’s coming and have something to look forward to while I carefully curate your images.

From there, I’ll begin the process of selecting and editing your photographs to create a gallery that feels true to your day.

I typically send 80-100 sneaks peeks and for the full gallery its 500-700 images

Your images are delivered through a private online gallery called Pic-Time, where you can view, download, and share your photographs.

Your gallery will include your fully edited wedding images, organized and delivered digitally so you can easily access and relive your day.
