Let’s Plan Your Session!

But first:

I understand that these moments in your life are incredibly special, and I'm honored to be a part of them. I'm here to make sure your session is not only a success but also a joyful and memorable experience for you both.

Throughout this guide, you’ll find tips and inspiration to help you feel confident and prepared for your session, from outfits to all the little details.
If you have questions or ideas, I’m just a message away. I’m so excited to create something that truly reflects you and can’t wait to make this an unforgettable experience together
These Photos Are

For You:

First and foremost, I just want to reiterate that these photos we capture together are only for you. They’re not for Instagram, or the perfect save the date photo (though I promise you'll have some beautiful options) these are for you to look back on and remember what it felt like to be together in this season of your lives. So just let go of any expectations, be fully present, and enjoy this time together! Our session is a safe space and nothing you do is wrong or awkward. Being yourselves is the very best thing you can do to ensure that your photos are meaningful. I promise I’ll always do the same.

Spend The Day

Together:

You’re not going to be your best selves at the end of an errand-filled, stressful day. So take it easy! Grab lunch and relax together doing something you enjoy. That way, when we meet for the shoot, you’re filled with love and excitement for each other, instead of just crossing one thing off your to-do list.

Make It

An All Day Activity:

Plan a date for before or after the session as something to look forward to–try that new restaurant you’ve been meaning to, celebrate over fancy cocktails, or set up a movie night at home! It may sound irrelevant, but your mindset and how you’re feeling while taking your photos will impact how you feel about them later on. Good vibes only!

What To Wear And Tips From Your Photographer!

I understand that finding the perfect look for your session can be a bit overwhelming. While some clients may prefer to shop for a brand-new outfit that makes them feel fantastic, many folks are comfortable in the clothes they already have. Take a peek into your closet and see what speaks to you. What do you find yourself reaching for most often? I want to emphasize that there's no need to feel pressured to dress or appear a certain way that doesn't feel authentic to you.

Matching colors through contrast

Colors:

Coordinating colors and styles with your partner can create a harmonious look without being overly matching.

Layers and Textures:

Adding layers and mixing textures can add depth and visual interest to your outfit. Make it fun!

Dress for the Location:

Formal attire may work well in an urban setting, while casual outfits may suit a beach, studio or countryside location

Accessories And Props:

A fun way to make your session feel personal and true to you. Love picnic dates, bike rides, city strolls for coffee, or stargazing in your truck? Let’s incorporate it! Bring a few favorite pieces like hats, jackets, scrunchies, jewelry, or bandanas, and we’ll have fun styling them into your photos

Props ideas: fun hats, a vintage camera, pizza, card games, yummy food or flowers!

Try a funky jacket or a bandana or both if you’re feeling bold!

After The Session!

Sneaks Peeks:

I’ll always send a few (10-15) sneak peeks 10 days from your session! Every shoot, I head home bursting with excitement to work on the photos–as stoked as you are to see them, I’m equally itching to share the magic we created!

Full Gallery:

You will receive the full gallery within 5 weeks. I’ll keep you in the loop so you know exactly when to expect the photos. When they’re ready, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery where you can download and share with friends/family.

Buying Prints, Books, Usb:

Photographs aren’t meant to just live on our screens, which is why I recommend printing your photos. Through the online gallery you’ll be able to purchase prints and products, so you can have tangible reminders of the love you share!
